Moore contributes 15 points as St. Bonaventure defeats UMass 73-59

Amherst, Massachusetts — St. Bonaventure secured a 73-59 win over UMass on Saturday, largely thanks to Chance Moore’s significant contribution of 15 points off the bench.
Moore also recorded 10 rebounds and three steals for the Bonnies, who now hold an overall record of 18-9 and 6-8 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. Lajae Jones added 14 points to the scoreboard, making 3 of 5 from the field and achieving 8 of 9 from the free-throw line. Additionally, Noel Brown was efficient with his shooting, finishing with 12 points on 6 of 8 attempts from the floor, along with seven rebounds.
On the other side, Tarique Foster led the Minutemen with 14 points and contributed three steals. UMass also saw 13 points from Rahsool Diggins and Daniel Rivera, who added 11 points alongside seven rebounds. The Minutemen now stand at a record of 11-15 and 6-7 in conference play.
St. Bonaventure took control of the game with 9:23 remaining in the first half and maintained the lead for the rest of the match. At halftime, the score stood at 39-26, with Jones contributing seven points. In the second half, the Bonnies increased their advantage, reaching a 54-34 lead after an 11-2 run. In this decisive half, Moore was the standout performer, scoring eight points as St. Bonaventure solidified their victory.
