GREEN BAY, Wisc. — In a competitive matchup, Northern Kentucky triumphed over Green Bay with a score of 73-60 on Friday evening, thanks in large part to an impressive performance by Josh Dilling, who scored 25 points.
Dilling had an efficient shooting night, making 8 of his 14 attempts from the field and converting 5 of 10 from beyond the arc, along with 4 out of 7 from the free-throw line. His teammates contributed as well; Trey Robinson added 20 points on 8 of 15 shooting, although he did not make any of his three attempts from three-point territory. Robinson also secured six rebounds, while Keeyan Itejere chipped in with eight points, making 3 of 4 from the field and 2 of 4 from the free-throw line.
For the Phoenix, who have now faced 21 consecutive losses, the top scorer was Marcus Hall, who netted 19 points. Green Bay also saw contributions from Foster Wonders, who scored 11 points, and Jeremiah Johnson, who added eight points along with eight rebounds.
Both teams are set to take the court again on Sunday, as Northern Kentucky will travel to Milwaukee, while Green Bay will host Wright State.
