DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Anticipating possible rain, NASCAR has adjusted the start time for Sunday’s Daytona 500 to 1:30 p.m. EST, moving it up by one hour.
The Daytona International Speedway will open its parking facilities at 6 a.m., allowing fans ample time to arrive and get settled before the event begins.

Denny Hamlin aims to capture his fourth win at the Daytona 500, while reigning champion William Byron is looking to defend his title successfully. Additionally, 2024 NASCAR champion Joey Logano is among the notable drivers competing in this highly anticipated race, often referred to as “The Great American Race.”

In light of heightened security protocols, officials at Daytona International Speedway are urging all attendees to arrive early to ensure a smooth entry to the venue.
