Abilene Christian triumphs 75-59 against Seattle

    ABILENE, Texas — Quion Williams led the Abilene Christian Wildcats to a solid 75-59 win over the Seattle Redhawks on Thursday night, contributing 16 points to the team’s success.

    Williams showcased his all-around game by also securing seven rebounds and making four steals for Abilene Christian, which improved to a record of 12-13 overall and 4-6 in the Western Athletic Conference. Bradyn Hubbard put up 12 points, shooting 4 of 7 from the field, including 1 of 3 from beyond the arc. He also went a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line and grabbed five rebounds. Additionally, Rich Smith made all his shots, finishing 4 for 4 from the field and accumulating 10 points.

    On the other side, the Redhawks were paced by Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe, who scored 18 points and recorded two steals. Malek Gomma contributed 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Brayden Maldonado added nine points and three steals, rounding out Seattle’s performance.

    Looking ahead, Abilene Christian is set to face Southern Utah at home next Thursday, while Seattle will travel to Tarleton State for their next game on Saturday.

    In this matchup, Abilene Christian displayed a strong team effort and defensive prowess, which paid off in their pleasant victory.
