Eastern Kentucky defeats West Georgia with a score of 95-73

RICHMOND, Ky. — Eastern Kentucky University continued its winning streak on Thursday night, defeating West Georgia with a score of 95-73, marking their sixth consecutive victory.

Mayar Wol was the standout performer for the Colonels, contributing 25 points to the team’s effort and also grabbing seven rebounds. The Colonels improved to 15-11 overall and 9-4 within the Atlantic Sun Conference. Jordan Crawford also had an impressive outing, scoring 22 points with an efficient shooting performance, hitting 8 of 13 attempts from the field and making 5 of 10 from three-point territory. Devontae Blanton supported the offense with 20 points, shooting 9 of 16 overall and successfully making 2 of 3 from beyond the arc.

For West Georgia, Shelton Williams-Dryden led the team with 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds, but the Wolves fell to 4-22 overall and 2-11 in conference play.

Both teams are set for their next games on Saturday. Eastern Kentucky will host Queens, while West Georgia will travel to face Bellarmine.
