Cottle nets 19 points in Kennesaw State’s 69-47 victory over Louisiana Tech

    RUSTON, La. — In a decisive matchup on Thursday night, Kennesaw State triumphed over Louisiana Tech with a score of 69-47, thanks to a strong performance from Simeon Cottle, who scored 19 points.

    Cottle also contributed five rebounds for the Owls, who improved their record to 15-10 overall and 7-5 in Conference USA play. Jamil Miller bolstered the team’s efforts with 14 points and six rebounds. Adrian Wooley added to the victory by shooting 3 for 7, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc, and going a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line, accumulating a total of 12 points, along with seven rebounds and seven assists.

    On the other side, the Bulldogs, who now hold a record of 17-8 and 6-6 in their conference, saw their scoring led by Al Green, who managed to put up 11 points. Daniel Batcho made contributions with eight points and two blocked shots, while Sean Newman Jr. also added eight points along with four assists to the team’s efforts.

    Both teams are set to compete again on Saturday. Kennesaw State will take on Sam Houston in an away game, while Louisiana Tech will host Jacksonville State at their home court.
