CLEVELAND — In an exciting match on Wednesday night, Amarion Dickerson contributed significantly to Robert Morris’s 68-59 victory over Cleveland State by scoring 21 points.
In addition to his scoring effort, Dickerson also secured six rebounds and recorded three steals for the Colonials, who now stand at 19 wins and 8 losses with an 11-5 record in the Horizon League. Alvaro Folgueiras was another standout player for Robert Morris, netting 18 points with a remarkable shooting performance of 6 of 7 from the field, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. He also made 3 of 4 free throws and added 10 rebounds along with four steals. Josh Omojafo contributed with 12 points, shooting 4 of 6 overall and 3 of 4 from the charity stripe, while also grabbing six rebounds.
On the side of the Vikings, Dylan Arnett led the charge with 16 points and eight rebounds. Tahj Staveskie contributed another 11 points, and Reece Robinson rounded out the scoring with 10 points for Cleveland State, bringing their overall record to 18 wins and 8 losses, with 12 wins and three losses in conference play.
Looking ahead, Robert Morris will face Purdue Fort Wayne at home on Saturday, while Cleveland State is set to host Youngstown State on Sunday.
