As part of this agreement, Yates is set to receive a signing bonus of $3 million along with an annual salary of $10 million.

He has the opportunity to earn bonuses of $50,000 each for appearing in 50 games and again for 55 games as a relief pitcher.

The 37-year-old athlete had an impressive season last year with Texas, finishing with a record of 7 wins and 2 losses, an exceptional career-low ERA of 1.17, and 33 saves. He previously signed a one-year deal with the Rangers worth $4.5 million in December 2023.
