PALMA, Spain — In a dramatic finish, Enzo Boyomo’s late equalizer helped Osasuna secure a 1-1 draw against Mallorca in La Liga on Monday, marking the home team’s sixth consecutive match without a win.

Mallorca had been struggling, having lost five straight games prior to this encounter. However, it seemed they were finally poised to end their losing streak when Kosovan forward Vedat Muriqi successfully converted a penalty kick with just 10 minutes left on the clock.

Despite Mallorca’s lead, Boyomo struck back for Osasuna in the third minute of stoppage time, igniting celebrations among the small contingent of away supporters at Son Moix Stadium.

This tense match left both teams languishing in the mid-table, each with 31 points, while Real Sociedad and Girona sit just above them.

Interestingly, Osasuna has recorded a tie in three of its last four league encounters, all finishing with the same 1-1 scoreline.
