PARIS — Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is set to make his debut in the Champions League for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) when the team faces Brest, a fellow contender in Ligue 1, this week.

The clash will take place on Tuesday at the Stade de Roudourou, marking the first leg of the playoff stage.

To prepare for this critical match, PSG has been in good form, recently achieving a convincing 4-1 win over Monaco, where Kvaratskhelia netted his inaugural goal for the club.

The talented Georgian winger joined PSG from Napoli during the winter transfer window for a fee believed to be around 70 million euros (approximately $72 million). Due to regulatory restrictions following his January arrival, he was unable to participate in the Champions League until the league phase concluded.

PSG’s head coach Luis Enrique has announced a squad of 20 players for the upcoming match against Brest, but the team will be without midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, who is sidelined with an injury.
