ALBANY, N.Y. — In a competitive matchup on Saturday night, Vermont triumphed over Albany with a final score of 68-62, thanks in large part to TJ Hurley’s impressive 21-point performance.

Hurley showcased his skills by making 6 of 10 shots from the field, including 2 of 4 from three-point range, and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line. His contributions were key for the Catamounts, who improved their record to 13-11 overall and 6-3 in the America East Conference. Nick Fiorillo was also a standout, contributing 17 points with a shooting percentage of 42.9% (6 for 14), including a stellar 4 for 7 from beyond the arc, along with five rebounds. Shamir Bogues added to the scoring with 15 points, successfully hitting 7 of 13 attempts from the floor.
