HUNTSVILLE, Texas — In a competitive matchup on Saturday night, Nana Antwi-Boasiako led Stephen F. Austin to a 78-64 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, finishing with an impressive 20 points.
Antwi-Boasiako’s performance was not only about scoring; he added five rebounds and five blocks, making a significant impact on both ends of the court for the Lumberjacks, who are now 11-13 overall and 4-9 in Southland Conference play.
Keon Thompson also had a noteworthy game, contributing 13 points. His shooting performance included going 4 for 12 overall, with two successful three-pointers out of four attempts, and he made three out of four free throws. Additionally, Thompson filled the stat sheet with nine rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.
Dominic Pangonis scored 13 points as well, shooting 5 of 8 from the field and converting two of three free throws while grabbing six rebounds.
For the Islanders, who now stand at 15-10 and 8-5 in conference play, Garry Clark was the top scorer, netting 18 points along with six rebounds.
