NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — In an impressive performance on Saturday, the Merrimack Warriors triumphed over the Canisius Golden Griffins with a final score of 69-51.
Adam Clark was a standout player for Merrimack, contributing 17 points to the team’s total.
Additionally, Clark showcased his defensive skills with four steals during the game.
Supporting Clark, Sean Trumper made an impact by scoring 12 points while also grabbing six rebounds.
Tye Dorset matched Trumper’s scoring output, also securing 12 points and showing excellent shooting efficiency, hitting five of his seven attempts from the field, which included two out of three from beyond the arc.
On the other side, the Golden Griffins struggled but had some bright spots. Paul McMillan IV led his team with 16 points, while Cam Palesse added nine points to the effort.
Looking ahead, Merrimack’s next challenge will be against Manhattan on Friday, as they take their game on the road.
Meanwhile, Canisius will prepare to face Niagara on Wednesday, aiming to improve their season record.
