LEXINGTON, Va. — On Saturday afternoon, VMI secured a victory over The Citadel with a score of 82-70, largely thanks to Rickey Bradley, Jr.’s impressive performance, where he netted 23 points.

Bradley also made significant contributions on the boards, grabbing eight rebounds for the Keydets, who now hold a record of 12 wins and 13 losses, along with a 6-6 standing in the Southern Conference.

Supporting him, Linus Holmstrom had a solid game scoring 12 points, shooting 5 of 9 from the floor, including 2 of 6 from beyond the arc. Augustinas Kiudulas chipped in with 11 points, managing a shooting split of 2 of 6 from the field and an impressive 7 of 9 from the free-throw line.

On the other side, The Citadel’s scoring was led by Christian Moore, who tallied 17 points alongside nine rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. Brody Fox contributed 14 points in the effort, while Sola Adebisi added 12 points along with two steals. However, the defeat marked the 15th consecutive loss for the Bulldogs, who now sit at 5-18 overall and 0-12 in conference play.

Both teams are set to return to the court on Wednesday, with VMI traveling to face UNC Greensboro, while The Citadel will host Wofford.
