FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Anquan Hill delivered an impressive performance by scoring 24 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, contributing significantly to Sacred Heart’s narrow victory over Manhattan, finishing 74-72 on Sunday.

With just 18 seconds left on the clock, Mekhi Conner drained a crucial three-pointer that put Sacred Heart ahead 74-71. In the final moments, Will Sydnor attempted a three-point shot for Manhattan but missed, allowing the Pioneers to secure the win.

Nyle Ralph-Beyer also played a key role for Sacred Heart (9-12, 5-5 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) by contributing 16 points, shooting 6 of 11 overall, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc. Tanner Thomas, while having a tough shooting day at 4 for 16 overall and 1 for 9 from three-point territory, managed to net 12 points with a solid free-throw performance of 3 of 4. Conner rounded out the scoring with eight points and a remarkable 14 assists.

On the Jaspers’ side, Devin Dinkins was the standout player, scoring 24 points along with two steals. His effort was complemented by Shaquil Bender, who contributed 16 points. Wesley Robinson also made his mark with 10 points and eight rebounds.
