COMMERCE, Texas – East Texas A&M achieved a significant victory over Northwestern State on Saturday, triumphing with a score of 72-50 and effectively breaking their nine-game losing streak. Scooter Williams Jr. was a key contributor to the victory, scoring 16 points during the game.

Williams demonstrated his shooting skills, going 5 for 10 overall, along with a 2 for 7 performance from beyond the arc. He also capitalized on every opportunity at the free-throw line, finishing 4 for 4.
