EVANSVILLE, Ind. — In an exciting matchup on Wednesday evening, the Evansville Purple Aces emerged victorious over the Murray State Racers with a close score of 78-74. Gabriel Pozzato was a standout performer for Evansville, contributing 29 points to the win.
Pozzato showcased his shooting accuracy by connecting on 10 of 14 attempts from the field, including a commendable 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. He also made 5 of 6 free throws, solidifying his performance during crucial moments in the game. Standing alongside him, Tayshawn Comer had an impressive night as well, contributing 27 points. Comer completed 6 of 13 shots from the court, including 2 of 5 from three-point territory, and excelled at the free-throw line, finishing with 13 successful attempts out of 14. Additionally, he tallied six assists. Tanner Cuff rounded out the scoring for the Aces with 12 points on an impressive 6 of 7 shooting.
