Baltimore Ravens supporters are being encouraged to contribute to a charitable initiative backed by Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid. This call to action comes on the heels of an emotional playoff match where Kincaid experienced a pivotal moment, with a pass slipping through his fingers during the game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
This charitable fundraising effort was sparked by a Bills fan who initiated a campaign for a cause associated with Ravens tight end Mark Andrews. During the previous playoff round, Andrews’ missed 2-point conversion proved crucial in contributing to Buffalo’s victory over Baltimore.
As of Wednesday evening, a GoFundMe campaign reported that over $20,000 had been collected for Summit Educational Resources. This organization operates the Summit Center in western New York and is dedicated to offering support and programs for individuals facing developmental, social, and behavioral challenges. Last April, Kincaid took the time to interact with both students and staff at the Summit Academy, demonstrating his commitment to the cause.
The initiative is being driven by Will Funk-Heiser, a resident of Catonsville, Maryland. The GoFundMe page notes, “We want the Ravens flock to donate to Summit Center for autism, the charity Dalton works with and try and return the favor Bills mafia did for us and Mark Andrews.” This sentiment underscores the spirit of community and support among fans, regardless of their team affiliations.
