**NEW YORK** — In the Los Angeles area, two significant wildfires continue to rage on for a third week, wreaking havoc and leading to the destruction of over 14,000 structures. The aftermath of these fires has displaced tens of thousands of residents. Amid the destruction, various relief initiatives are gaining momentum, with musicians stepping in to support affected communities, the most notable being the upcoming FireAid benefit concert.

Set for January 30th, this one-night-only concert features a lineup of 28 talented artists, including Billie Eilish, Jelly Roll, Peso Pluma, Joni Mitchell, Sting, and Anderson .Paak, not to mention iconic Californian bands like No Doubt and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This star-studded event aims to generate funds for wildfire relief in the Los Angeles area.

FireAid is primarily organized to raise funds that will aid in both immediate relief and longer-term strategies to mitigate the impact of future fire disasters. The production is a collaborative effort involving the Azoff family, Shelli, Irving, alongside entertainment giants Live Nation and AEG Presents. Proceeds from the concert will be allocated under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation, ensuring that all donations go directly to identified beneficiaries impacted by the fires.

The event will take place across two venues in Inglewood, California, on January 30th, with the Kia Forum opening its doors at 6:00 PM PST and the Intuit Dome at 7:30 PM PST. Attendees can look forward to performances by several top artists, such as Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Rod Stewart at the Intuit Dome. The Kia Forum will feature setlists from artists including Alanis Morissette, Green Day, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.

It is worth noting that while musician Dave Matthews was initially slated to perform alongside John Mayer, he has regrettably had to cancel due to a serious family medical emergency.

For those unable to attend in person, FireAid will be accessible through live streaming on various platforms, including Apple Music, Max, Spotify, and YouTube, making it easy for fans to participate remotely. The concert will also be screened in select AMC Theatre locations nationwide.

Tickets are set to go on sale Wednesday at noon PST via Ticketmaster, starting at a price point of $99. Notably, both the venues and Ticketmaster are foregoing their usual fees to maximize the funds raised for FireAid.

While ticket holders will not have access to both venues, attendees at the Intuit Dome will be able to view the Kia Forum performances on screens at their location before their segment starts, and vice versa for Kia Forum guests after their shows.

In response to the devastating fires, many celebrities and organizations in the entertainment industry have pledged millions of dollars towards relief efforts. Notable contributions include a $2.5 million donation from Beyoncé through her charitable initiative, BeyGOOD, to establish a new LA Fire Relief Fund. Additionally, The Weeknd has contributed $1 million to support the LAFD Foundation and other relevant relief organizations. The Recording Academy and MusiCares have also been proactive, launching the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort with an initial $1 million donation that has since helped distribute $2 million in emergency aid.
