Toledo managed to secure a victory over Ohio with an impressive score of 86-83 on Tuesday evening, thanks in part to stellar performances from Seth Hubbard, Sam Lewis, Bryce Ford, and Sonny Wilson, all of whom contributed 15 points each.

Hubbard showcased his versatility by grabbing nine rebounds, playing a crucial role in Toledo’s upturn in the game. Wilson was efficient on the offensive end, going 7-of-14 from the field and adding six rebounds to his tally. Lewis also had a solid outing, shooting 6-of-11 from the floor, which included two successful 3-point attempts.

On the other side of the court, Ohio’s AJ Brown and Jackson Paveletzke each led their team in scoring with 22 points. Additionally, Shereef Mitchell made his presence felt with 12 points to help support the Bobcats.

A pivotal moment came halfway through the second half when Wilson executed a timely layup that put Toledo ahead 63-62, a lead they would not relinquish for the remainder of the game.

Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to hit the court again on Saturday, with Toledo set to host Northern Illinois while Ohio is on the road to face Miami (Ohio).
