KENT, Ohio — In a strong performance on Tuesday night, VonCameron Davis contributed significantly to Kent State’s commanding 75-57 victory over Bowling Green.

Davis showcased his skills by scoring 24 points, hitting 10 of his 16 attempts from the field, including 4 for 7 from beyond the arc. He was supported by Jalen Sullinger, who added 18 points with an impressive shooting display of 8 for 14, converting 2 of 7 from three-point range. Cian Medley also played a pivotal role, scoring 12 points on 4 of 9 shooting while also dishing out 10 assists during the match.

For Bowling Green, Marcus Johnson stood out with 21 points and collected six rebounds. Javontae Campbell contributed with 16 points and four steals, while Trey Thomas added nine points to the effort.

Kent State established dominance early in the game, taking the lead approximately six and a half minutes into the first half and maintaining it throughout. Davis was instrumental in this early lead, scoring 14 points in the first half, which helped the Golden Flashes to a solid 41-23 advantage at halftime. In the second half, Kent State further extended its lead to 58-33, sparked by a strong 9-0 scoring run. Davis continued to shine with another ten points in the latter half as his team secured the win.

This victory brought Kent State to a 13-7 overall record and 4-4 in the Mid-American Conference, while Bowling Green fell to 7-13 overall and 2-6 in the conference standings.
