PHILADELPHIA — During a game on Tuesday, Anthony Davis departed from the Los Angeles Lakers’ match against the Philadelphia 76ers in the first half due to an abdominal muscle strain.
As he exited the game with 2:10 remaining in the first quarter, he was seen walking to the locker room with his right hand placed on his abdomen. Before his injury, Davis had managed to score four points in the span of 10 minutes.
On the season, Davis has shown impressive performance, averaging 26.3 points and 12.1 rebounds across 41 games with the Lakers. Just a day prior, he delivered a stellar display by contributing 42 points earlier, followed by another 23 points in a win against the Charlotte Hornets.
