BEAUMONT, Texas — In an exciting matchup on Monday night, Lamar University outperformed Northwestern State, securing a 69-59 victory. The standout performances from Alexis Marmolejos and Adam Hamilton were pivotal in driving the Cardinals to their win.

Marmolejos contributed significantly with 14 points, managing to connect on 4 of 13 attempts from the field, including three 3-pointers out of 11 attempts. He also converted three of his four free throws.
