PORTLAND, Ore. — In an impressive performance, Jaylin Henderson took the spotlight with a total of 31 points, guiding Portland State to a convincing 76-59 victory over Idaho State on Saturday evening.
Henderson displayed exceptional shooting skills, going 12 for 18 from the field, including 3 for 6 from three-point range, and hitting all four attempts from the charity stripe. This win elevates the Vikings to a record of 13-7 overall and 5-2 in the Big Sky Conference. Additionally, Terri Miller Jr. contributed significantly with 14 points, converting 6 of 9 shots and securing 11 rebounds. Qiant Myers added to the team’s effort with 11 points, while shooting 4 for 9, notably sinking 1 of 4 from beyond the arc.
On the other side, Dylan Darling was the standout for the Bengals, recording 11 points and facilitating four assists. Isaiah Griffin made a solid impact with 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Blake Daberkow also made his presence known, contributing eight points to the team’s tally.
