AKRON, Ohio — In an impressive display of skill, Tavari Johnson contributed significantly to Akron’s commanding 102-75 victory against Miami (OH) on Saturday, scoring 15 points along with six assists for the Zips, who now boast a record of 14-5 and remain undefeated in the Mid-American Conference at 7-0.

Nate Johnson also shined for Akron, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. Meanwhile, Seth Wilson was particularly effective from beyond the three-point line, shooting 4 out of 5 and also scoring 14 points. This latest win marks the Zips’ seventh consecutive victory.

On the opposing side, the RedHawks, who hold a 14-5 record and a 6-1 conference standing, saw Peter Suder lead their effort with 18 points and two steals.
