In a competitive matchup on Wednesday night, the UNC Asheville Bulldogs emerged victorious with a score of 61-53 against Gardner-Webb in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.

Star performer Toyaz Solomon led the Bulldogs with 16 points while also securing seven rebounds, contributing significantly to the team’s overall effort. The Bulldogs now boast a record of 14 wins and 6 losses, standing at 5-1 in the Big South Conference.

Supporting Solomon, Josh Banks added 13 points and matched his efforts with another seven rebounds. Both Jordan Marsh and Fletcher Abee made notable contributions as well, with each scoring 11 points.

On the opposing side, Darryl Simmons II was the standout player for the Runnin’ Bulldogs, finishing with 18 points to lead his team’s scoring efforts.
