Kennesaw, Georgia — In an exciting matchup on Saturday night, Kennesaw State edged out Louisiana Tech with a nail-biting score of 78-76, thanks in large part to Simeon Cottle’s impressive performance.

Cottle led the way for the Owls with a game-high of 25 points, shooting an impressive 10 out of 15 from the floor, which included three successful three-point attempts out of six. Kennesaw State’s record now stands at 11 wins and 7 losses, with a Conference USA tally of 3 wins and 2 losses.

Braedan Lue also made significant contributions, scoring 19 points while hitting 7 of 15 attempts, including 1 from beyond the arc out of 5 tries. Lue rounded out his performance with four successful free throws out of five, along with five rebounds. Additionally, Adrian Wooley added 13 points to the scoreboard, shooting 3 of 11 on field goals and going 6 of 8 at the charity stripe.

On the other side, Louisiana Tech (13-6, 2-4 in Conference USA) saw Daniel Batcho lead their efforts with a solid showing of 23 points and seven rebounds. Devin Ree followed with 14 points and contributed two steals, while teammate Amaree Abram also chipped in with 11 points and facilitated the offense with four assists.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to return to the court on Thursday. Kennesaw State will travel to face off against New Mexico State, while Louisiana Tech will be hosting Western Kentucky in what promises to be another exciting round of games.
