MOBILE, Ala. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday night, Barry Dunning Jr. played a pivotal role by contributing 14 points, with the final two coming from the free-throw line just two seconds before the game concluded, securing a narrow 64-63 victory for South Alabama over Troy.

Dunning also made an impact on the boards, grabbing eight rebounds for the Jaguars, who now hold a record of 14 wins and 5 losses and 6 wins against 1 loss in the Sun Belt Conference. Judah Brown added to the score with 12 points, showcasing his shooting skills by converting 4 of 8 attempts, including 3 of 7 from beyond the arc. Randy Brady was another key contributor, scoring 11 points while shooting 4 of 7 from the field, including an impressive 3-pointers shooting rate of 3 for 4.
