EMMITSBURG, Md. — In a commanding performance on Saturday night, Amarri Monroe led the Quinnipiac Bobcats to a decisive 91-57 victory against Mount St. Mary’s. Monroe showcased his scoring ability, contributing a total of 25 points to the team’s success.
The Bobcats, boasting an overall record of 11-8 and a 7-1 standing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, saw notable performances from other players as well. Tice was instrumental in the game with his nine rebounds and three steals. Khaden Bennett also made a significant impact by scoring 21 points on an impressive shooting night, converting 8 of 14 attempts, including 3 of 6 from three-point range, alongside five rebounds and three steals. Additionally, teammates Alexis Reyes and Jaden Zimmerman each chipped in with 11 points to help secure the win.
On the other side, the Mountaineers, now at 11-7 overall and 4-3 in conference play, were led by Carmelo Pacheco, who scored 15 points in the game. Dola Adebayo added another 12 points for Mount St. Mary’s, while Arlandus Keyes contributed a well-rounded performance with 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
Looking ahead, the Quinnipiac Bobcats are set to host Rider in their next game on Saturday, while Mount St. Mary’s will travel to Siena for a matchup on Thursday.
