HARRISONBURG, Va. — In a competitive matchup on Saturday night, Appalachian State emerged victorious against James Madison, finishing with a score of 58-50.
Myles Tate was a crucial player for the Mountaineers, delivering an impressive performance with 20 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, contributing significantly to his team’s success.
Dior Conners also made a notable impact, scoring 18 points and demonstrating remarkable accuracy by hitting 6 of 9 field goal attempts, including 6 for 8 from three-point range.
CJ Huntley added to the team’s efforts with seven points, although he faced some challenges, shooting 3 for 11 and only landing 1 of 4 from long range.
On the other side, the Dukes of James Madison had Bryce Lindsay leading their scoring with 13 points.
Mark Freeman provided additional support, finishing the game with 10 points and four assists, while Eddie Ricks III contributed nine points, along with seven rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.
