Dionjahe Thomas showcased an impressive performance with a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, leading Southern University to a solid 69-53 win against Bethune-Cookman on Monday evening.
Alongside Thomas, Jordan Johnson contributed with 10 points, while Michael Jacobs added eight points to the scoreboard for the Jaguars, who have now improved their record to 9-8 overall and remain undefeated in the Southwestern Athletic Conference with a 4-0 standing.
On the other side, the Wildcats struggled despite a commendable effort from Daniel Rouzan, who led his team with 15 points. Tre Thomas chipped in with eight points, and Brayon Freeman added seven points to the mix for Bethune-Cookman, which now holds a record of 5-11 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
