LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Ante Beljan delivered an impressive performance, scoring 24 points to lead Little Rock to a commanding 78-58 triumph over Southern Indiana on Sunday evening.
In addition to his scoring, Beljan contributed six rebounds and made three steals, showcasing his all-around abilities for the Trojans, who now hold a record of 9-7 and 3-2 in the Ohio Valley Conference. Mwani Wilkinson also had a stellar night, netting 20 points and shooting 7 of 11 from the field, including a solid 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. He further bolstered the team with nine rebounds.
Johnathan Lawson played a crucial role as well, scoring 13 points on 5 of 7 shooting, which included two successful three-pointers. He rounded out his performance with 10 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and three blocks, proving to be a versatile player on both ends of the court.
On the other side, Damoni Harrison was the standout for the Screaming Eagles, leading his team with 17 points. Jared Washington contributed eight points along with two steals, while Stephen Olowoniyi chipped in six points and recorded two blocks for Southern Indiana.
This decisive victory strengthens Little Rock’s position within the Ohio Valley Conference as they continue to pursue a competitive season.
