FAIRBORN, Ohio — In an intense matchup on Thursday evening, the Wright State Raiders secured a narrow victory over the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, winning 66-62. Jack Doumbia played a pivotal role for the Raiders, contributing 16 points along with six rebounds.

Keaton Norris also made a significant impact, netting 14 points with an impressive shooting performance where he hit four out of eight attempts, including four out of six from three-point range. Additionally, Andrea Holden added to the team’s efforts by shooting five for eight from the floor and finishing with 11 points, while also grabbing 11 rebounds for a double-double.

On the opposing side, Tuburu Niavalurua led the Golden Grizzlies with a strong performance, scoring 16 points, securing eight rebounds, and making two steals. Allen David Mukeba Jr. supported the team’s effort with 13 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks, while Isaiah Jones chipped in with 10 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Raiders’ solid overall play.
