In a thrilling basketball matchup on Thursday night, Delaware triumphed over North Carolina A&T with a score of 98-88. Izaiah Pasha was a standout performer for the Fightin’ Blue Hens, contributing 22 points along with five rebounds and six assists to help his team improve to a 9-7 record, including a 2-1 mark in the Coastal Athletic Association.
Alongside Pasha, teammate John Camden made his mark by scoring 21 points, showcasing his shooting skills by hitting 7 of 13 attempts from the field, including 2 of 5 from beyond the arc, and converting 5 of 6 free throws. Camden also contributed 10 rebounds, bringing an important presence to the glass. Niels Lane joined the scoring spree, finishing with 18 points after going 9 of 14 from the floor.
For the Aggies, Ryan Forrest led the way in scoring, putting up 26 points in an effort to keep his team competitive. Nikolaos Chitikoudis supported the team with a double-double performance, tallying 18 points and 10 rebounds while also securing two steals. Delaware managed to maintain a slight lead at halftime, going into the break with a 47-41 advantage. Lane was instrumental in the first half, leading all scorers with 12 points, while Camden stepped up in the second half to lead the team with 13 points after the intermission.
