SAN DIEGO — In a commanding performance, San Diego State triumphed over Air Force, securing a decisive 67-38 win on Wednesday, thanks in large part to Nicholas Boyd, who contributed 16 points and five steals for the Aztecs, improving their record to 10-3 overall and 3-1 in the Mountain West Conference.

BJ Davis also made a significant impact by scoring 15 points and grabbing five rebounds. Jared Jones had a solid game as well, finishing with 10 points after making four of seven shots from the floor and hitting two of four from the free-throw line, while also collecting 14 rebounds.

On the side of the Falcons, Ethan Taylor led the team with 11 points along with three steals. Luke Kearney added nine points, and Kyle Marshall contributed six points to the effort as Air Force fell to 3-12 for the season and 0-4 in conference play.

The Aztecs took command of the game with four minutes left in the first half, establishing a lead they would never relinquish. Boyd was instrumental in this stretch, scoring 13 points before halftime, allowing San Diego State to enter the break ahead, 33-24.

In a dominant second half, San Diego State extended their lead with a decisive 15-0 run, building their advantage from nine to 24 points. The Aztecs outscored their opponents by 20 points in the latter half, with Davis leading the team with 13 points after the break.

Looking ahead, both teams will return to action on Saturday; San Diego State will travel to take on New Mexico, while Air Force will host San Jose State.
