FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Jalen Jackson was instrumental in leading Purdue Fort Wayne to a 78-73 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday night, contributing 25 points to the team’s success.
In addition to his scoring efforts, Jackson also secured nine rebounds, showcasing his all-around play for the Mastodons, who improved to a 12-6 overall record and 5-2 in the Horizon League. Teammate Rasheed Bello added 23 points to the scoreboard, shooting 6 for 12 from the field, with a 1 for 4 performance from beyond the arc, while successfully hitting all 10 of his free throw attempts. Corey Hadnot II chipped in with seven points, going 3 for 8 from the floor.
On the opposing side, Themus Fulks was the standout for the Panthers, as he accounted for 18 points in the contest. Milwaukee’s Kentrell Pullian contributed significantly as well, tallying 16 points along with 12 rebounds and two steals. Jamichael Stillwell also had a noteworthy performance, finishing with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.
Looking ahead, both teams will compete again on Saturday, with Purdue Fort Wayne set to host Detroit Mercy, while Milwaukee will be welcoming Green Bay.
