BEAUMONT, Texas — Adam Hamilton contributed significantly with 16 points, while Ja’Sean Jackson recorded an impressive double-double as Lamar University triumphed 72-58 over Incarnate Word on a recent Monday evening.
Hamilton also grabbed eight rebounds for the Cardinals, bringing their record to 9-6 overall and a strong 4-0 in the Southland Conference.
Jackson showcased his all-around game, finishing with 15 points, 10 assists, five rebounds, and five steals. Cody Pennebaker made a solid contribution as well, scoring 12 points on a commendable 6-for-11 shooting performance.
On the opposing side, Shon Robinson and Davion Bailey each led their team with 16 points. Robinson also contributed with six rebounds, while Jalin Anderson added 10 points along with five assists, showcasing the depth of their team’s efforts during the game.
This victory further solidifies Lamar’s strong position within the conference, demonstrating their skill and teamwork as they aim for continued success this season.
