Stiemke nets 25 points to lead Loyola (MD) past Lehigh 80-74

BALTIMORE — In a thrilling matchup on Sunday, Jordan Stiemke came off the bench to score 25 points, guiding Loyola (MD) to an 80-74 triumph over Lehigh.
Stiemke also contributed significantly on the boards, pulling down seven rebounds for the Greyhounds, who improved to 6-7 overall and 1-1 in the Patriot League.
Milos Ilic was another key performer, netting 18 points and shooting 7 of 17 from the field, including 4 of 7 from the charity stripe, while collecting six rebounds. Jacob Theodosiou added 14 points, although he struggled with his shooting, going 1 for 5 from the floor and 0 for 3 from beyond the arc, but still managed to hit 12 of 14 free throws.

For the Mountain Hawks of Lehigh, Cam Gillus had an impressive all-around game with 25 points, eight rebounds, and six steals.
Tyler Whitney-Sidney also shone with 22 points, while Joshua Ingram contributed 12 points along with four assists.
Stiemke’s offensive prowess was evident in the first half, where he scored 14 points, helping Loyola (MD) to a slight advantage at halftime, leading 37-34.
The Greyhounds then surged in the second half, going on a 10-2 scoring run that allowed them to establish a nine-point lead at 69-60 with just 1:47 remaining in the game, effectively sealing their victory.

Both Loyola (MD) and Lehigh are set to return to the court on Wednesday. Loyola will face off against Army, while Lehigh will travel to take on Colgate.
