Pettway showcased his shooting prowess, connecting on 8 of 13 attempts from the floor, including 3 of 5 from beyond the arc, and maintaining perfect free throw shooting with 4 for 4. This win marks a significant turning point for the Panthers, improving their season record to 2-12 and giving them their first Southwestern Athletic Conference victory at 1-0. Braelon Bush also made a strong impact, scoring 17 points while dishing out six assists.
