NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In an exciting college basketball matchup on Saturday night, Belmont triumphed over UIC with a score of 92-87, thanks in large part to the outstanding performance of Jonathan Pierre, who contributed a total of 22 points and secured eight rebounds for the Bruins. Belmont’s record now stands at 10 wins and 5 losses, including 2 wins and 2 losses in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Carter Whitt also made a significant impact, netting 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Additionally, Isaiah Walker delivered a strong performance, shooting 60% from the field, including two three-pointers, and making all four of his free throws to end the game with 18 points.

On the opposing side, the Flames of UIC, who also hold a record of 10-5 and 2-2 in conference play, were guided by Ahmad Henderson II, who scored 18 points and provided four assists.
