NEWARK, N.J. — Quentin Duncan led the NJIT Highlanders with an impressive performance, scoring 26 points in their commanding 107-51 victory against Medgar Evers on Saturday.
In addition to his scoring, Duncan contributed six rebounds. Tim Moore Jr. had a productive game as well, putting up 17 points and shooting 7 of 11 from the field, while going 3 of 4 from the free-throw line. He also secured 10 rebounds, showcasing his well-rounded game. Ari Fulton added 14 points, hitting 6 of 14 shots and converting 2 out of 3 free throws.
On the opposing side, Jonathan Grimsley was a standout for the Cougars, scoring 27 points while also grabbing six rebounds, though his efforts weren’t enough to turn the tide in the lopsided contest.
Looking ahead, NJIT will be preparing to face UMBC in their next game scheduled for Thursday.
