GRAND FORKS, N.D. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday, Miles Barnstable showcased an impressive performance, leading St. Thomas to an 88-80 victory over North Dakota.

Barnstable topped the scoring chart with 30 points, contributing five rebounds to his team’s effort. The Tommies, currently holding a record of 12-5 and 2-0 in the Summit League, also saw solid contributions from Nolan Minessale, who scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Carter Bjerke played a key role as well, finishing with 12 points after successfully sinking four of his eight shots, including four out of seven from the three-point line.

For the Fightin’ Hawks, Mier Panoam stood out as he recorded a double-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. North Dakota, now 6-11 and 0-2 in league play, received additional support from Eli King, who added 14 points along with seven rebounds. Both Dariyus Woodson and Treysen Eaglestaff also contributed significantly, each adding 14 points to the team’s total.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas will play their next game at home on Wednesday against South Dakota State, while North Dakota prepares for an away game against Denver on Thursday.
