DURHAM, N.C. — In an impressive display of scoring, Floyd Rideau led the North Carolina Central Eagles to a commanding victory over Saint Andrews (N.C.) with a final score of 121-61 on Tuesday evening.
Rideau showcased his skills by contributing 26 points, along with five rebounds and three steals, significantly influencing the outcome of the game for the Eagles, who now hold a record of 7-10. Adding to the offensive effort, Anthony Peoples Jr. delivered a solid performance with 16 points, shooting 8 out of 13 from the field, and rounding up eight rebounds. Aquan Smart also had a noteworthy night, scoring 13 points with an efficient shooting line of 5 for 9, which included hitting 3 for 6 from three-point territory.
For the Knights, Jaylin McDuffie put together a respectable performance, finishing with 15 points. Escamilla Mateu contributed significantly as well, registering 14 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide in their favor against the dominating Eagles.
