HATTIESBURG, Mississippi — Denijay Harris showcased an impressive performance by scoring 32 points, leading the Southern Miss Golden Eagles to an 80-70 victory over William Carey on Monday night.

Harris also made a significant contribution on the boards, racking up 23 rebounds during the match for the Golden Eagles, who now hold a 6-7 record. Neftali Alvarez added to the scoreboard with 14 points, making 5 of his 13 attempts from the field, though he struggled with his shooting from beyond the arc, missing all four of his three-point attempts, while managing to sink 4 of 6 from the free-throw line.
