CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In an impressive display of skill, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders triumphed over the Schreiner Mountaineers with a dominant score of 103-44 on Sunday.
Jordan Roberts stood out in the matchup, contributing 19 points to his team’s victory. He demonstrated efficiency, making 7 of 11 shots, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc.
Dian Wright-Forde also made a significant impact, netting 14 points with a shooting percentage of 57% from the field and an 75% success rate from the free-throw line. Additionally, he showcased his defensive capabilities with three steals.
Sheldon Williams added to the Islanders’ offensive onslaught by scoring 13 points, connecting on 5 of 6 shots from the floor while going 3 for 6 at the charity stripe.
