NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In a commanding performance, Jacob Ognacevic led Lipscomb to a significant 112-54 triumph over Asbury, a Division-III team, on Sunday evening.
Ognacevic’s impressive outing included 25 points along with 12 rebounds, showcasing his strong presence on the court for the Bisons, who now hold an 8-5 record for the season. Charlie Williams also made a notable contribution, finishing with 16 points and exhibiting excellent shooting accuracy, going 7 for 8 overall and hitting 2 of 3 from three-point range. Additionally, Will Pruitt added 10 points to the scoreboard, shooting 4 for 10, including 2 for 6 beyond the arc.
Cameron Jones was the scoring leader for Asbury, with a respectable total of 19 points and seven rebounds. His teammates Johnathan Combs and Ben McNew contributed with 11 and 7 points, respectively, but their efforts were not enough to challenge the Bisons’ offensive onslaught.
