Holy Cross triumphs with a commanding 82-46 win against Regis (MA)

WORCESTER, Mass. — In a commanding performance, Holy Cross triumphed over Regis (MA) with a decisive score of 82-46 on Sunday, thanks in large part to Max Green who contributed 16 points.
Green also showcased his versatility with nine rebounds and six assists, playing a pivotal role in the Crusaders’ (8-5) success. Aidan Richard added to the team’s efforts with 13 points, demonstrating efficiency by hitting four of his six attempts, including three from behind the arc. Declan Ryan also made an impact, going 6 of 8 from the field to finish with 12 points.
For the Pride, Jamir Harvey led the way with 11 points, complemented by seven rebounds and four steals. Aamyr Sullivan provided support with nine points and five assists, while Dan Grasso chipped in with six points.
Holy Cross gained control right from the beginning, taking the lead just 14 seconds into the game and maintaining it throughout. By halftime, they had established a significant 36-20 advantage, with Richard contributing 10 points during that period.
The Crusaders increased their lead to 82-43 in the second half, driven by a remarkable 15-2 scoring spree. Green was particularly effective, standing out with 11 points in the latter part of the game as Holy Cross sealed their victory.
Looking ahead, Holy Cross is set to take on Loyola (MD) in their next game this Thursday.
