ST. LOUIS — On Saturday night, the Saint Louis Billikens secured a decisive 78-57 victory against William Woods, an NAIA program. Gibson Jimerson was instrumental in this win, scoring 28 points and contributing three steals throughout the game.
His teammate Robbie Avila also had a notable performance, netting 23 points with an impressive shooting percentage of 9 for 15 from the field and 4 for 8 from the free-throw line. Avila’s performance included six rebounds, six assists, and four steals, showcasing his all-around skills. Dylan Warlick added to the team’s effort with nine points, having shot 3 for 5 from the field and a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line.
For the Owls, Francis Okwuosah emerged as the leading scorer, contributing 16 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Henry Shannon III chipped in with 11 points, while Nathan Schwartze finished the game with eight points.
