SACRAMENTO, Calif. — In a dominant performance, Jacob Holt led Sacramento State to a resounding 98-47 victory over Stanislaus State on Sunday, scoring 23 points in the process.
Holt also added five rebounds, showcasing his all-around play for the Hornets, who improved their record to 3-9 following this much-needed win, breaking a five-game losing streak. His teammate, Bailey Nunn, supported the offense by contributing 18 points, achieving an impressive shooting percentage with 6 of 7 from the field and 5 of 6 from three-point range.
Chudi Dioramma also had a strong outing, finishing with 14 points while hitting 6 of 8 shots taken. The team’s offensive depth was evident as they collectively overwhelmed their opponents.
For the Warriors, Jason Cibull was the standout performer with 17 points. Additionally, Cam Walker added 10 points to the team’s tally, but it wasn’t enough to compete with Sacramento State’s offensive surge.
