CLEVELAND — In an impressive display of basketball, Je’Shawn Stevenson shone brightly for Cleveland State, leading the team to a resounding 116-60 victory over Midway University on Sunday.
Stevenson had an outstanding game, scoring 23 points with remarkable accuracy, hitting 8 of his 11 attempts from the field. He was also effective from long range, making 2 of 3 three-point shots, and went a perfect 5 for 5 at the free-throw line. This win improves the Vikings’ record to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in the Horizon League.
Dylan Arnett made a solid contribution as well, chipping in 18 points and grabbing six rebounds. Meanwhile, Tahj Staveskie added to the offense by successfully sinking 4 of his 7 attempts from beyond the arc, finishing with 14 points.
